Holding up the photo print, I searched for the camera position on Baltimore Street
On July 1, 1863 Union troops fought along this street.  On November 19 they held a parade.  Very little looked
familiar to me.  The Street slope
appeared the same however.....
Almost nothing is the same. I drove around trying to follow the slope of the street.
Perhaps the tree on the left still exists.  Yes! The house on the far right definitely is the same.

It is almost identical to the one in the parade.  I felt I had found some treasure. 
Can you hear the bands?    Has 1863 gone forever?   These photos are a form of time machine, if
you study them carefully, the echo of the past remain.
