Brady did not arrive until well after the battle and took a series of panoramic views, showing broken fence rows and the lush richly growing countryside
			.  Our visit was on a damp, rainy day - - there were few people around.  Ask you walked up the hill toward Cemetery Ridge, you could imagine the buzz of bullets, and roar of massed cannon behind the ridge.When photography fails, imagination must serve. The cannon shots are actually a distant thunder storm I recorded there.  Hear the birds!
