Stockholm
The Vasa Warship
Preserved from 1628

At sea and then to Stockholm harbor, which has a beautiful approach.  We toured this city and visited the amazing Vasa warship which sank in 1628, the only ship existing from that era.  Raised from110 feet of water in the harbor, the Vasa had been forgotten until located in 1956.  The Vasa Museum was dark and our digital camera did an amazing job of recording
photographs of this remarkable ship.
The wood carvings on the Vasta had a 'fairy tale" look.
Denmark, Norway and Sweden have a high standard
of living and a strong social system.  Our guide was proud
that they no longer practiced a 110% tax on higher incomes.
Perhaps some of our CEO's could benefit from some of this
